NovaTrips

Travel terms

Last updated 1 October 2026

NovaTrips is a service of NovaCodes, Malé, Republic of Maldives. The NovaCodes terms of service apply to your account, to payment and to your balance; these terms add what is specific to flights. By asking for a quote you agree to both.

1. What we do

We find flights and stays for you, check the price with the airline, the hotel or a supplier, and make the booking once you have approved the price and paid. We are a booking service: the contract of carriage is between you and the airline, and the contract for a stay between you and the hotel, under their own conditions.

2. Estimates and quotes

Prices shown in the search are live fares from Google Flights, or live rates from Google Hotels, with our service margin already included, and are labelled as estimates. They are not an offer: airlines and hotels re-price often and a price may not be available for your exact travellers, room or dates.

After you ask for a quote, a person checks the fare and sends you a final quote by SMS and email. The quote is the full price for all passengers, taxes and our service included; nothing is added later. A quote stays open for the hours stated on it (normally six); after that it lapses and a fresh one is needed.

3. Passengers

After approving a quote you enter each traveller exactly as printed on the passport. Airlines refuse to carry a passenger whose name does not match, and a name change after ticketing is charged by the airline or is not possible at all. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for every traveller’s passport validity, and for the visas and entry rules of the countries on the itinerary.

Children and infants are priced by their age on the day of departure: an infant is under two and travels on an adult’s lap, a child is two to eleven.

3b. Stays

A stay is booked under the lead guest’s name as entered; hotels ask for a passport or ID at the reception and may ask for a deposit for extras. The quote names the room type, the meals included and the hotel’s cancellation rule; city taxes or resort fees collected by the hotel on the spot are stated when the hotel publishes them. Check-in and check-out times are the hotel’s.

4. Payment and booking

The booking is made only after your payment is confirmed. You pay by bank transfer in the Maldives, by USDT, or from your NovaCodes balance, under the NovaCodes terms. An unpaid order lapses with its quote; a part taken from your balance comes back to it.

Between your payment and the booking the airline or the hotel may withdraw or re-price what was quoted. If that happens we tell you at once and offer the new price or a full refund to your balance. We never charge more than the quote you approved without asking you first.

5. Tickets and vouchers

The e-ticket or the hotel voucher is issued by the airline, the hotel or the supplier and is delivered on a private page, by SMS and email, with the booking reference. Check it as soon as it arrives: names, dates, times, routing or room. Tell us within 24 hours of any error.

Flight times are local to each airport and may change; the airline notifies schedule changes to the contact details on the booking. Check-in, baggage, seats and meals follow the airline’s rules, which are shown in the fare’s conditions.

6. Changes, cancellations and refunds

Before you pay, a request or an approved quote can be cancelled at any time at no cost. After booking, changes and cancellations follow the airline’s fare rules or the hotel’s cancellation policy as stated on the quote: many fares and rates are non-refundable or carry a penalty, and our service margin is not refunded once the ticket or voucher is issued. We handle the request with the airline or the hotel for you and pass on what they allow, less any penalty. Refunds are made to your NovaCodes balance; see the refund policy.

7. Liability

We are liable for our own service: checking the price, making the booking as approved and delivering the ticket or voucher. We are not liable for the carriage or the stay itself, delays, cancellations, denied boarding, lost baggage, schedule changes, the hotel’s condition or service, visa refusals or entry decisions, which are the airline’s, the hotel’s or the authorities’ responsibility. Our liability for any booking is limited to the service margin we charged on it.
