Refunds for flights and stays
Last updated 1 October 2026
The NovaCodes refund policy covers your balance and how money is sent back to you. This page says when a flight booking is refunded and how much.
Before the ticket or voucher is issued
A request, a quote or an unpaid order can be cancelled at any time at no cost; a part taken from your balance comes back to it at once. If you paid and we cannot book the fare or rate you approved, you choose between the new price and a full refund to your balance, including our service margin.
Stays
The hotel’s cancellation policy, as stated on your quote, decides: many rates can be cancelled free until a date before check-in and are charged in full after it; some are non-refundable from the start. A no-show is charged by the hotel. We pass on what the hotel refunds, less our service margin once the voucher is issued.
After the ticket is issued
The airline’s fare rules decide. Many fares are non-refundable; others refund part of the fare after a penalty, or allow a change for a fee plus any fare difference. Our service margin is not refunded once the ticket is issued. Ask us with your trip number: we tell you what the airline allows and what it costs before anything is done.
If the airline cancels
When the airline cancels the flight or changes the schedule so that the trip no longer works for you, we ask the airline for the refund or the rebooking its rules provide and pass it on in full. The time this takes depends on the airline.
Where the money goes
Refunds go to your NovaCodes balance in the currency you paid in, once the airline or the supplier has refunded us. From the balance you can pay a later order or ask for the money to be sent back to the bank account or USDT address you registered, under the NovaCodes policy.
How to ask
Use the help page with your trip number. Tell us as early as you can: the closer to departure, the less the airline refunds.
